Genesis

We Unite Data, Inc. formed in early 2002 and provided REALTOR® offices and agents with custom high-end IDX websites. Over the following three years it built a niche for itself in southern Vermont as a successful small company with an excellent product and an innovative team of bright, hardworking talent.

 

New Vision, Product, Approach

In February of 2005 We Unite Data, Inc. realized that the quality of its product, the size of the REALTOR® consumed services market and the relative slowness of this market to harness new technologies on the REALTOR® level presented a terrific opportunity for growth. At that time We Unite Data decided on three specific goals:

 

Goal One

Instead of remaining a small regional provider, We Unite Data, Inc. would rebrand as AlphaLynx, Inc. and aggressively market its superior product and service to not just Vermont and New England REALTORS®, but to the entire U.S. and Canadian market.

 

Goal Two

The existing WURes product would be rebuilt in ASP.NET and include new features and functionality, making it the premier IDX/MLS delivery engine in North America.

 

Goal Three

In addition to maximizing sales nationwide for the existing product and developing the next product generation, AlphaLynx, Inc. would also analyze the business potential; create a business plan; and seek investment funding for a full-scale entry into the REALTOR® consumed services market.

 

The Results

We Unite Data, Inc. executed immediately. It took concrete and successful steps to drive this new opportunity into realization.

Magonaga Industries, Inc. was retained in February of 2005 to provide project management and business development services for the company. The business plan is now complete and under review by several investors.

 

National Brand Launch

AlphaLynx, Inc. made its successful debut in the nation’s capital at the National Association of REALTORS® in May of 2005 exhibiting to over 8,500 attendees and 250 exhibitors. The superiority of the AlphaLynx product was clear during sales presentations: the perfect HTML validity of the product was an unexpectedly key selling point.

 

Strong New Sales

Since February’s decision to retain Magonaga Industries, Inc. and aggressively pursue sales and revenue growth, AlphaLynx, Inc. has more than doubled the client base of the company with the existing product.
